Is Commission Academy A Scam Or Legit – Overview

The Commission Academy training is a step by step guide for creating a successful business online. The training covers choosing a niche, setting up a website and creating content. It details how to find great keywords for producing quality content for Affiliate marketing that results in a high ranking website. The basics are all covered, creating email lists, linking and promoting products, and using product platforms to choose the best products to promote.

And the Commission Academy training is free forever. It is not some free trial period then you need to upgrade. It is free for as long as you want. If you don’t believe me, you can go check it out for yourself with the link below.

Who Created Commission Academy?

It was designed and created by Dale from the UK who actually is a super affiliate marketer who has earned six figures online. The course is designed so a complete beginner  can learn to create a successful online business. The course is completely free and it is updated regularly.

Dale was working as an electrician, and decided it wasn’t making him happy. So, he decided to try Affiliate Marketing, and in 6 months time he was able to earn $10,000 from his website. Dale does admit he had been playing around with websites for a few years before he went full time, so he did have a little learning experience under his belt.

Dale’s Bio from his website.

Now Dale is an Affiliate Marketer full time. It is how he makes his money. He shows you exactly how he does it in his training for free. And anyone can do it. It is the same system I use to earn money online, and you can also.

Dale does give his training away for free, but he also offers advanced training you can purchase. They are completely optional, but let’s face it you can’t give away everything for free. Affiliate marketers make their money from products they recommend.

How Does Commission Academy Work?

The training begins with a three step process that is very simple and easy to understand.

  • Learn – You are provided training to learn how to make money online
  • Build – With the resources provided you create powerful webpages and get traffic without spending money on ads
  • Earn – After launching your webpages, you will have the opportunity to earn 75% commissions

Here is the training video from Dale’s website.

Direct Marketing Platforms

Everyone is familiar with Amazon, and the do have a huge amount of products to sell. They are a direct Affiliate marketing program, because they handle their own affiliate program. But, over the years they have actually reduced the affiliate commissions on the most popular products.

So, people have been looking at other marketing platforms for more lucrative commissions. Amazon pays about 3% on average for the popular products. The range of their commissions is from1% to 10%. However, their are other direct affiliate marketing programs that pay much more, sometimes 50% or more. Some of the marketing programs you may be familiar with.

These are only a fraction of the programs to choose from. There are others:

  • Walmart
  • Target
  • Ebay
  • Jet

Other affiliate marketing programs can be found by simply entering your product+affiliate marketing programs into Google search and quite a few products will show up. These products have affiliate marketing programs. Also, you can scroll to the bottom of many product pages, and if they offer an affiliate program, they usually have it listed.

Affiliate Marketing Networks

Another type of affiliate marketing program is called affiliate marketing networks. These are not as well known but if you tried some products from ClickBank, you likely remember. Some of their products are not the best quality. however if you look through their marketplace carefully you can find some quality products to promote.

Other Affiliate marketing networks include:

  • Shareasale
  • CJ Affiliate
  • JVZoo
  • Flexoffers

Affiliate Marketing Is Still Popular

Take a look at this graph and see how affiliate marketing has grown.

Affiliate marketing just keeps growing. And with 4 billion customers online, it’s no wonder! So, we know that affiliate marketing is a lucrative business, but is the training at Commission Academy any good?

Is Commission Academy A Scam Or Really Worth A Good Look?

To find out if the Commission Academy is a scam or legit, we have to dig into the training. Some courses are like the Click Wealth System, or Affiliate Lab are just overhyped systems that have huge upsells and need expensive tools to make them work.

But, not this course. It is completely free. It can be started completely free, and you don’t need any expensive tools. You will need an autoresponder for your email system. Some have limited free trials that you can use them for free for a limited time, then they cost $19 bucks a month, depending on who you choose.

You will need to buy a domain name, and pay for hosting for your website. Domain names generally run $10-$15 and hosting can be $3 a month and up. But, as you can see these costs are very reasonable for starting you own business, don’t you think?

Let’s take a look at the training you get with this course. The first section is an introduction to affiliate marketing and how to begin setting up your business. All the videos are easy to follow and understand.

Commission Academy Scam Or Legit

As you can see, there is quite a lot of training included in this course. And anyone can do this. You don’t need to know any computer programming or have any marketing skills. it is all taught in the training. And it is free!

If you have decided you would like to sign up, I have included a link below.

Who Is Commission Academy For?

This is the perfect course for beginners, and could be a refresher for advanced marketers as well. however, Dale does caution you that this is not a get rich quick scheme. It will take you several months of effort to realize your first $1000 or more. You have to be willing to take action and devote an hour or more each day to achieve results.

If you put in the work, you can have a successful business in 6 months or less. And it won’t cost you anything but the unavoidable costs of hosting, domain registration, and autoresponder costs. the bottom line is that you can create your own business without spending a lot of money.

If you are wondering what it is like when you start out, check out this interview with Dale describing how he got started in Affiliate marketing.

Is Commission Academy A Scam or Legit? It Is Legit Green Thumbs Up Legit Indicator

Commission Academy is definitely not a scam. First of all, it is free. So, you are getting quite a bit of training without paying one penny. And the training is pretty good. It is a step by step guide with all the basic skills that you need to start your own business in affiliate marketing.

There is plenty more to learn than what is in this course, but this is a complete guide for a beginner. And there are a few thing an advanced marketer could pick up as well. When you are just starting out in affiliate marketing, you need a good guide to get your feet on the ground. Commission Academy can do that for you. The course is a step by step guide from finding your niche, to getting an email plan going, and getting traffic.

But, it doesn’t stop there. You learn how to write content, and install affiliate links to promote products and make money. The cost of the course free and the additional costs you incur are minimal. I do try to share with my readers as many free trainings and tools that I can find. This is a great example.

Final Word

Affiliate marketing is how I make my money online, and you can do it also. The most important thing with affiliate marketing, is you don’t need inventory, or a lot of money getting started. You have to avoid the programs that are complete scams. Programs such as Matt lloyd Mobe Scam, or The Easy Payday Method are complete get rich quick scams.

Programs that are legit and ones that I personally recommend include Commission Academy and Wealthy affiliate. You won’t go wrong with either program. The training they provide will give you the solid foundation to build a successful business.

  1. Thanks Chas, for enlightening us on this forum about Commission Academy. Very thorough information to receive as a curious beginner not having a clue. Heard about affiliate marketing about a 1 1/2 year ago but never fully looked into it. Just recently , I jumped the gun and purchased Fullstaq Marketer affiliate program, founder Keala Kanae before I checked its background. So glad I came across you. Very informative information that total beginners like myself, not only need but must have and appreciate. Again Chaz, thank you so much.

    • Hi Bruce,

  2. Hi Chas,

Thanks for showing us how Commission Academy looks like from the inside. I am sure people will benefit from your detailed article. It’s good to know that it’s not a scammy product that aims to take people’s money without giving them enough training. Dale, the founder, creates some training for free, which is good news for everyone interested in making money online with a tight budget. I would love to try it as soon as I can.

    • Hi Matt,
You are welcome, glad to write about some good products that are free for people to use, and worthwhile. It is a really easy program to follow step by step and create a business. You can try it whenever you want, it’s free.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Please stop back soon!

  3. As I am read your post, I genuinely feel Commission Academy is a good place for an beginner to build his online presence. The modules that they cover seems apt and provide necessary knowledge to kick start your affiliate marketing project / business.

One thing I wanted to check regarding Commission Academy – How is there support? I mean after the video classes, if anyone needs any further help or have any concern then how do we go about?

Do they some sort of community or group of like minded people who can assist ?

    • Hi Satz,
Thanks for your kind words. Commission Academy is a great training program for beginners. Their support is by email using their contact page. As part of your training, you are referred to Wealthy Affiliates to use their free platform and use the community support available there as well. The WA community is a million+ strong, so you have plenty of support there. And you have the opportunity to join WA as well.
Great questions Satz, If you need more clarification, I will be glad to help you.

  4. Hi Chas, it’s great to see a learning program that’s actually free and not full of hype. There are so many scams with outrageous claims these days. The course seems easy to understand with step by step videos. Also, I’ve heard of Dale and seen a few of his YouTube videos, so this gives me a good feeling about commission academy. So many hide their identity or use fake ones. You mentioned an upgrade. I’m just being curious, but do you know much this is?

    • Hi Kathy,
Yes, Commission Academy is completely free. It is no scam, it is a legit online Affiliate marketing Course that is easy to follow and get started. Dale is a real person that can be found on the Wealthy Affiliate Platform as one of it’s successful members.
There is a separate program called the 15 Day Challenge that you can look at for 30 days for only $7. However, you must be able to supply capital to start. It involves joining ClickFunnels, and getting an autoresponder for an email campaign as well, so there are additional costs. You must be able to spend money on ads as well. It is not for anyone on a shoestring budget. If you can afford $500 to $1000 bucks in extra costs, then I say go for it. Thanks for your great question! If you need to know anything else, I will be glad to answer any more questions you may have!
Thank you for your comment and please stop back soon!

  5. Hi Chas, I had heard of Commission Academy recently. I heard that it was free but honestly I am so busy with developing new content for my websites not had the chance to check it out yet. So there are 13 training videos right? and then you have to upgrade to a paid plan to learn more? I am just curious not had the chance to check out the website but thanks for sharing this review so I could learn a bit more about it.

    Many thanks

    • Hi Alex,
Commission Academy is free, but you do not have to upgrade. You can stay on the free course as long as you like. Yes there are 13 training videos, and there is enough in them you can get up and running with a website and email list. so, you could check out the training and stay on the free program. It is one of the best free programs I have seen yet. They do offer a 15 day challenge course with an affiliate who has earned 100’s of millions of dollars in marketing, but it is not required.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, please stop back soon.

  6. Very helpful review, Chaz! I’ve been interested in affiliate marketing for a while and only just took the leap recently to start a site myself. I never realized there were such in-depth learning platforms like this. This name is actually a new one to me, but I will certainly be looking into it further thanks to your article.

    • Hi William,
Thank you, I am glad you found it helpful. Commission Academy has been around a few years. They do have some good step by step training that is very easy to understand. It is free, so it doesn’t cost anything to check it out. You may even pick up an idea or two for your website!
Thanks for stopping and leaving a comment, please stop back soon.

  7. Wow, to find that there is actually free training for affiliate marketing that is free, and legitimate, is amazing. So yes one has to pay for an autoresponder and hosting, but that does not have to cost the earth. Many autoresponders do have a free plan for up to 500 subscribers, and by the time you have more, you should be making money from your list.

Affiliate marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but if you put in the work, you can earn passive income. Commission Academy seems to be worth signing up for. Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi line,

Yes, there is free training out there and I try to find it for my readers. Most of the time there are hidden costs that are expensive (like ClickFunnels). But, none of that is required of Commission Academy. But, they do require an autoresponder for email marketing.

It is true money cam be made in affiliate marketing, but it does require hard work and dedication. Most people are looking for a way to make a fast buck without any work. That’s why scammers thrive. The promise overnight riches, and people fall for it every time. It just doesn’t exist. If it did, nobody would sell it for any amount of money.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, please stop back soon.

  8. Hey great review Chas! The details that you’ve listed were very descriptive and informative. Everything you need to know concerning Commission Academy seems to be right here in this review.
