What Is The Affiliate Lab About?

Matt Diggity labels the Affiliate Lab as a program that is a tested and proven blueprint for ranking, flipping, and monetizing websites. This program give you the option to build a blog site and scale up the profits.

Or create a site, get it established, monetized and then sell it for a profit.

When Matt created the affiliate Lab, he said, “I wanted to create a course that would be able to teach people how to rank and flip affiliate websites” And so he created what he calls the perfect affiliate marketing system.

The course that he created is extensive and complex. Beginner marketers may have a problem understanding some of the information, because they are not yet familiar with Affiliate marketing.

This course includes over 12 hours of content, and is likely more beneficial to experienced marketers and website owners.

The Products Offered In The Affiliate Lab Course

Courses And Bonuses Included In The Affiliate Lab Training

Here is a breakdown of the prices that Matt would charge for the individual courses. He is claiming a total cost of $15,270.00

After looking at these inflated prices for the training, you might feel like you are getting a real bargain at a thousand bucks? Looking at the Affiliate Lab course site unseen, do you really want to take that chance?

Update: Matt is now offering a 30 day moneyback guarantee. At least you can look it over for 30 days before making up you mind.

The training is great for optimizing websites and for owners looking to resell their existing sites for a profit. And because those sites are generally older and well seasoned, they have the rankings necessary to make a sale easier. Thus, making a profit.

The training is in video format that also includes templates, checklists, and a private Facebook group. Plus, you get training on choosing the best niche, and researching relevant keywords for the niche you select.

Along with that information, you will learn the best content creation techniques, to achieve higher rankings and conversions.

And Matt’s course also has a section that teaches methods of getting backlinks to your website. This plays into the fact that Matt also has a website devoted to selling backlinks.

 Who is Matt Diggity?

Matt Diggity’s chosen career path was as an Electrical engineer. After many 60 hour + weeks, Matt suffered a nervous breakdown, and decided to get into Affiliate marketing.

After years of research and testing, Matt discovered how to flip websites for a profit.

And the Affiliate Lab was born!

Along with the Affiliate Lab product, Matt has also created a business site called Authority Builders. This is where Matt and his team sell backlinks for people trying to increase authority for their websites. Hence the name, Authority Builders.

Matt Diggity Sells Backlinks And It Is Risky Business

The problem with trying to build authority by “buying backlinks,” is that Google(#1 search engine on the planet) frowns on that practice, as they know it is “gaming the system”.

Google prefers the natural backlinks people acquire from producing good quality content on their websites. This is not something new, Google has talked about this for years, and has cracked down on a lot of sites.

Listen closely to the comments Matt Cutts makes about using backlinks that are purchased just to improve rankings.

Most importantly, Matt Cutts says, Google does not recommend this practice and will penalize sites for improperly acquiring backlinks or (buying backlinks). You can see this is an older video, and it is still important today.

Even back then, Matt says that Google may crack down anytime in the future. And they did!

When they came out with the Penquin Algorithm update, many sites disappeared. Because Google increased rankings for backlinks to quality content, and penalized or reduced the rankings for backlinks of little or highly spammed content.

It was and still is considered “manipulative techniques to achieve high rankings.”

This is how bad backlinking can ruin a business overnight. I personally would not recommend that practice to anyone, just because it is so risky. Why jeopardize your business? My #1 Recommendation teaches how to build your site the right way. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

How Does Affiliate Lab Work?

The Affiliate Lab training shows how to create your own business by building a website and making it into an authority website. They claim to have all the tools necessary to achieve higher rankings than other training programs.

But, they don’t! They check rankings and do keyword research using tools like Ahrefs and  SEMrush. These programs are not cheap.

  • Ahref has a 7day free trial for $7, then it costs $99 a month for their lite version.
  • SEMrush offers a free trial the allows you to search 10 keywords daily and track one project, and 10 keywords. But to get the minimum Pro research tools, it cost you $120 per month.

My #1 Recommendation has a free keyword search for 30 searches, and a Pro Plan for Jaaxy keyword tool that allows hundreds of searches for $49 per month.

Matt Diggity On Creating Content

In this video from Matt’s YouTube Channel, he shares some tips on how to make your content stand out and gain some authority. After all, his affiliate lab stresses the importance of building an authority site.

But, you can access this information for free just be subscribing to his YouTube channel.

Affiliate lab offers over 160 videos on niche selection, templates, keyword research, and domain name keyword help. Once you get your website built, then the Affiliate Lab training teaches you everything you need to know about getting traffic, and converting sales on your products.

However, I would check out his YouTube channel first before you send Matt a thousand bucks!

You could pickup some freebie tips and learn how to make your site, an authority site. But, you must be aware that building authority takes time and you won’t be getting rich overnight.

Over time you will succeed in getting the traffic, sales, rankings and backlinks you need. Then you can decide if you want to sell your site for a nice profit.

Or after all that hard work, maybe you want to hang on to it and enjoy a steady income.

Good Reviews For Affiliate Lab Are Mostly Affiliates Getting Commissions

You will find many good reviews for Affiliate Lab, but don’t let that confuse you.

Because most of the glowing reviews you read are people who are Affiliates of Affiliate Lab. They are getting paid a commission to sell the product to you.

They don’t give a damn about the product, only making sales. Why? Because Affiliate Lab gives a $500 commission.

Affiliate Lab offers some good training points, and you will learn about affiliate marketing. But, again most of these profits they rave about are from the students selling the Affiliate Lab Marketing course.

Refunds – Yes, A 30 Day Refund.

I can tell you from experience, nine times out of ten, most products that do not offer a refund are products that people don’t like and they ask for refunds a lot! I can tell you that a no refund product for me is a big red flag!

And getting constant complaints from people is not fun at all. Well, Matt is now offering 30 day refunds. A while back he wasn’t.

Even if the product is legit, if you don’t like it, you are stuck with it, unless it has a refund guarantee. It is buyer beware! So, if you don’t like it, then what good is it? You won’t ever use it. My #1 Recommendation is free to try and you can stay on the free program for as long as you want.

You also get a full week to look at their premium program. And if you don’t like it, you aren’t under any obligation to buy it. If you do, you only pay $49 a month. You still won’t have shelled out a grand a year later!

What Is Affiliate Lab About – No 24/7 Support!

All you get for support with Affiliate Lab is a Facebook support group. Sure, that may be fine, if you get to talk to members who know enough to help you.

But what about a website crash, or a site that has been hacked?

You need to be able to contact a solid dependable support team that can actually help you quickly. If this happens, you feel totally helpless unless you have help right now.

My #1 Recommendation has 24/7 tech support and a live chat for anything you may need . I can tell you this because I use them to host my sites, and they are the best support I have ever found anywhere.

In fact, I once suffered a complete hard drive failure, and because the have a mirror image backup of every website, my websites remained functioning while my computer was in the shop getting fixed!

Affiliate lab has a Facebook group, but that may not help if you have a technical issue. When you are paying a thousand bucks for a training program to build your business, it should definitely have some good support.

People trying to learn the same techniques may not always be helpful.

Pros

  • Training For Flipping Websites
  • Backlink Training
  • Teaches Building Authority Sites

Cons

  • Too Expensive
  • Buying Backlinks Is Risky
  • No 24/7 Support

Covid Pandemic Worldwide Has Created Opportunities In Affiliate Marketing

Is Affiliate Lab Legit – It Is Legit, But Not Recommended Thumbs Down Image for Not Recommended

Affiliate Lab is a legitimate product, but it is costly, and no 24/7 support. Why would anyone want to shell out a thousand bucks for a program they can’t even get 24/7 tech support? Then, what if your website is hacked, who can you call?

Why not try a better training for free? There is better training that you can take a look at for a full week and decide if it is something you might be interested in.

Why risk losing a thousand bucks of your hard earned money on blind promises with no tech support?

learn how to create a business the right way, keeping your site safe after you invest all the hard work building it. I don’t like the fact that Matt uses some Grey hat SEO techniques. It could be disastrous in one update from Google!

Affiliate Lab teaches buying backlinks which is risky business. It’s time to take a look at better training without all the risk.

  1. I’ve got to agree with Cynthia’s comments above…. No refunds, not beginner-friendly, dodgy practices…. and all this for a thousand bucks????
You mention his course includes over 12 hours of content. Is that all???? That’s nothing. I’ve spent hundreds of hours learning and relearning about affiliate marketing, and still, I’ve got so much more to learn.

I’d definitely recommend that if anyone is interested that they check out his youtube channel first.
Thanks for the good call on the 3/10

    • Hi Andrew,
Yea, these guys want to get rich quick before everyone figures out that it is not such a good deal. That’s it, 12 hours of content. My #1 Recommendation has over 500 hours of training alone, not including the Premium Plus trainings that are added almost daily. The world Of affiliate market is constantly changing, so new training is expected. Checking his YouTube channel first is a great idea, and shows some of the gaps in his training.

  2. I actually bought the course a few months ago, and I feel comfortable saying that it’s nothing out of the ordinary. I mean, the course is indeed legitimate, but most certainly not worth the price.

I can think of 10 different courses that don’t cost as much and offer much better value for money. By the looks of it, you’ve already recommended one.

Great review, btw. I had fun reading it!

    • Hi Gorjan,
I agree with you that the Affiliate Lab course does fall short on quite a few areas, and paid ads are also a big part of the marketing of this program. And the people involved seem to be affiliates making their money from selling this program. That doesn’t say much for the SEO expertise claims of Matt’s Training. Yes, My #1 Recommendation is way better than this course, and you can try it for a week free, and pay $19 bucks more and look it over for a whole month! Sure beats paying a thousand bucks! With No Refunds!

  3. 997 is a reach. Many digital courses now are rarely priced as high as this one. Some are extremely quality content that are FREE. And to have no trial and refund is like you mentioned, a huge commitment.

Which makes me wonder, does he price it that high because there is a 100% success rate? Perhaps some (or a lot of) success stories would help to justify his membership fee.

Anyone getting into affiliate marketing should know that it’s a long term game that requires much dedication and commitment.

Anyway, great review! Interesting read for the day.

    Cheers.

    • Hi SAM,
It is a high price at almost a thousand bucks! There is not a lot of success stories that are published, in fact if you check Quora, there are none to be found. All these guru’s claim it is easy and requires little time to make money in Affiliate marketing, but just the opposite is true.
Glad you liked my review, Thanks for leaving a comment.

  4. I always find it a bit suspicious when legit companies don’t offer any refunds, especially when they have such a high price tag. I’m glad to hear that the company is legitimate, but I agree with your review. Buying backlinks is risky and isn’t good advice, which is another red flag. I wouldn’t put my money and time into it when there are far better programs out there.

    • Hi Alicia,

It is good to know you realize the danger of programs with no refunds, they can really hurt your pocketbook! Backlinks are great if you get them because of great content, but trying to buy them to get better rankings is a No -No for Google rankings. They will hurt your rankings. Yes, save your money!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, I hope you stop back soon!

  5. This is crazy!!!  Pay $1,000 for a program that you can’t test drive, no refunds and it’s probably too complex for a newbie to follow.  Is that what I’m reading?  So, it’s really a program for someone who already has knowledge of affiliate marketing, which means they probably don’t NEED this training.  I gotta say, Chas, nice catch on this one.  Thank you for posting this!

    • Hi Cynthia,

Yes, it is a bit crazy! Anytime you see a training with a high price tag and no refunds, you can bet money, it’s not worth it. Matt spits out a lot of information, but newbies will get lost in the details. And the only help you have is the Facebook group. No refunds, and no 24/7 tech support for an issues that may come up!

I hope people take a look at My #1 Recommendation first before they buy this, it is so much better!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Please stop back soon!
