Matt’s Affiliate Lab course is pretty extensive, and covers a wide range of trainings for building websites and flipping them for a profit.

If you don’t mind putting in a lot of hard work, and then selling it, I guess this could be for you. I personally don’t like to keep starting over again and again, but that’s just me. Matt does say you can just scale your website without selling it, if you want.

This training could be very good for people who already have websites and are looking to sell them. Those sites are likely older and well established which tends to make them easier to sell. But, I would be careful about using Matt’s(Grey Hat) backlinking tactics.

Matt’s training also shows how to get some natural backlinks as well.

The Google E-A-T Principles

Matt teaches how to optimize websites using SEO techniques, the E-A-T or ( expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness) principal that Google loves. Google recently updated this to the E-E-A-T principal, so it is still one of the golden rules of SEO.

The E-A-T principles emphasize that websites and authors should have expertise in their respective fields. They should establish authority through reputable sources and credentials, and build trust with users.

Affiliate Lab doesn’t have any instant chat or any support help if you need help with a website issue. You have to get website support from whoever is supplying your hosting.

I know that trying to reach someone at some hosting sites is a nightmare at times, and can be relying on email messaging which can take awhile. It can be very frustrating. 24/7 tech support is a huge advantage, but unfortunately Affiliate Lab doesn’t offer help with websites.

Wealthy Affiliate Community

Wealthy Affiliate has one of the largest communities that is the most active I have ever encountered. And I have tried quite a few others. WA has people online 24/7 because they have members in their community from all over the world!

And they have over 2.5 million members! So, if you need help, you always have someone to talk to. Plus, some of those members are already millionaires! So, they know what they are doing, and what works!

At WA when you are a Premium member, you can instant message another member anytime and ask for help. When you are invited by a member to join WA, that member becomes your coach. You can always message your coach for help as well.

Wealthy Affiliate Support

And Kyle and Carson are also available to any member who wishes to speak to them as well. They don’t hide from anyone like other programs, once you buy in they disappear.

The support at WA is world class as well. They are also available 24/7 and always answer any question within minutes. And when your site is having issues, you need help fast! It is instant help, not email support that can take days!

And on the technical side, the WA platform is using state of the art technology. The servers are some of the fastest servers in the world. Plus, they have a mirror backup of your site 24/7. If your computer fails, your site stays up and running!

If you decide to leave WA, and you want to take your site somewhere else, it is not a problem.

Support will help you move the site anywhere you want to go. Just don’t wait until the last day of your membership! Allow a week or two for moving your site, just in case you run into any issues

Final Verdict: Why Is Wealthy Affiliate The Better Choice?

Wealthy Affiliate is clearly the better choice for several reasons:

They also don’t offer anywhere near the free tools, websites, hosting and live support to help you that Wealthy Affiliate does. And they are much more expensive!

For the beginner, WA is way more affordable, and doesn’t require all the extra and expensive bells and whistles that Affiliate Lab requires.

Wealthy Affiliate Hat a TrustPilot Rating Of 4.9

The first place people go nowadays to check out a program is TrustPilot. If you are a legitimate business you should have some reviews posted. Wealthy Affiliate has a 4.9 rating, but Affiliate Lab only has a few complaints.

Verdict: Affiliate Lab & Wealthy Affiliate Are Legit

I have compared Affiliate Lab with Wealthy Affiliate and this is what I have found. The extensive amount of tools, and comprehensive constantly updated training at Wealthy Affiliate puts them light years ahead of Matt Diggity’s Affiliate Lab.

The comparison is just too obvious. Wealthy Affiliate is more affordable, and you get way more for less!

Affiliate Lab doesn’t offer any websites, hosting, keyword tool or even have instant chat. The community at Wealthy Affiliate is much bigger, worldwide in fact and has plenty of successful members.

And you have 24/7 tech support if you need it.

Affiliate lab is a good program, but I feel that it is geared toward people who have plenty of cash on hand and a team in place to help with all the work.

He makes it sound easy, but in reality what he is doing requires a ton of work! You either do it yourself, or you pay people to help you. And buy expensive tools to help also!

Too Expensive

Matt’s techniques require spending some cash to get websites quickly ranking. Some of the most successful people who have used the program are people who own businesses and agencies. They have the deep pockets to hire the help and afford the higher priced tools required for the best results.
