SiteSell (SBI) online business provides website building tools, along with training, hosting, and support for those seeking to build a profitable online venture. You can choose to build you business site on SiteSell using Solo Build It! and their templates. Or choose to create your own site from a blank page.
If you are familiar with WordPress websites, you can choose to use SBI WP plugin to create your site. There is more flexibility using free plugins when using WordPress to build your site. When you use the WordPress plugin, some of the features of SiteSell(SBI) are not included. So, the cost of using the SBI plugin is about half of the cost of using the standard SBI model.
SBI Website Building Tools – Brainstorm It! 5 and Analyze It!
Brainstorm It 5:
The main tool that SiteSell offers is the Brainstorm It! 5. It is a brainstorming tool that helps with brainstorming, niche picking, and keyword research. Based on your interests or knowledge, Brainstorm It! produces dozens of possibilities for your site concept. And makes choosing your niche a lot easier. However, you do have to purchase credits to use the tool, so it is not free to use.
When you are starting a new business the research is important! You have to know whether your niche is too narrow or too broad and if it will be profitable or not. Brainstorm It! will research your keywords, inform you of your competition, and offer plans to monetize your website.
Analyze It:
After you finish your page and upload it, the Analyze It tool automatically does the SEO work in the background. This is the feature SBI says “allows you to concentrate on your content and not worry about the technical stuff”
Google considers Analyse It to be manipulating the search results for Google. The Google Panda update in 2011 decimated many SiteSell websites, and crushed the rankings of sites that were keyword stuffing and buying backlinks. Google will punish websites when they try to manipulate their search engines. Overnight, businesses were destroyed.
Google just completed another update on September 15th 2023, looking for content that doesn’t comply with their E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) guidelines. Google wants good quality content from experience, and your expertise.
They are looking for original and trustworthy content. Tools that only use keywords and backlinks for SEO are considered to be manipulating Google’s Search Engines. And they don’t want to see content that is a summary of someone else’s content. That is also causing some ranking to fall dramatically!
That is why learning good SEO practices and applying them yourself protects your business. And learning to write good quality unique content for people, not for the search engines! I’ll explain more about this below.

The Solo Build It! 10 day action guide is the step by step process of building your business. It is just a fancy way of saying what every training platform tells you when you are learning online marketing.
Content is king, and you need traffic, then you need to convince people to buy the product, and when they purchase the product, you get paid and make money!
SiteSell (SBI) also has an extensive library of 80+ modules that are constantly updated. These help you research pre-site ideas, to earning money in over 15 different ways. And they have training for the social programs like Facebook. X (Twitter), and Pinterest.
Coaching is also offered, but it is not included in your $300 per year membership. The cost of coaching ranges from $69 to $99 per hour, and also offer a custom site design service costing $297 for a basic design.
Hosting is Included With SBI Membership
The SiteSell (SBI) platform includes hosting for your site. The hosting performs well for smaller websites. But, once you create a big site, the SBI platform struggles to perform efficiently. This will lead to the necessity of moving your site. But, that is not easy and will require some extra programming to accomplish that feat. That could cost $1000 or more!
If you build your site using their SBI for WordPress, you will be able to move your site much easier, but you will have to install plugins to get some of the features included in the SBI platform. On the flip side, some features in wordpress are automatic, and the themes look modern and current. The themes at SBI are extremely outdated, and clumsy to use requiring a lot of manual work.
If you use WordPress you can choose to use a site like Wealthy Affiliate to host your site and use their training to learn everything about WordPress. And you learn how to do your own SEO.
Does SBI Has Dedicated Support?
Solo Build It has a forum they claim with over 70 helpful blog topics that are dedicated for specific areas that you may need help with. That sounds great, because I have had forums where people aren’t online sometimes for days.
And SBI has additional ways to get support. You can contact support by email. But, if you need technical support for your website, You have to pay an additional $19.95 fee per incident. Even calling them costs you $19.95 per incident! And when you make a call, you are directed to a 3rd party website, so they can collect your fee.
And after you pay your fee, it is reported that support isn’t always there to answer the phone, even during business hours! If nobody takes your call, you have to fill out a form and arrange for a time for them to call you! What?
Not good if your site has crashed and you need help quickly!

Hey Chas, this is a super review, and as you start to break down what SBI offers, it sounds quite good, almost as good as Wealthy Affiliate, but like Christine states, having to pay for site support, is a bit of a no-no for me! I could not do without Site support! and to have to pay for that service, I would get bankrupt! lol.
For a newbie in this field, it would be in their favour to have that confidence there is site support, and that it’s included in the package.
Also after you have highlighted what could potentially go wrong and in-hand losing your website that’s horrifying!!! And that’s down to excellent training that is offered at WA, where advice is clearly portrayed and it’s all about writing good honest content and getting recognized that way!
I have never thought of having 2 websites, I wouldn’t know how to get my head around that, but you have given me an idea how this would work, and where WA offer up to 3 website as a premium member within that package sounds quite feasible now.

Wow, I was shocked at how their site support works … First you have to pay for it, and then you can’t even be sure when you’ll get someone to help you, or you have to make an appointment. Site support for a website is usually urgent … So, that is definitely the main reason why I wouldn’t sign up with this platform. And if SEO practices do not align with Google’s standards, it would be a risk to build a website with this platform. What if you lose your ranking due to a faux-pas you may not be aware of? It’s a big risk.
