What Is Six Figure Mentors About Overview

Six Figure Mentors is a training that teaches people to earn money through affiliate marketing. They claim their training will help people who already have a business or people looking for a brand new opportunity. With their training you will learn things like Attraction Marketing. You provide people with value rather than selling them a product.

I agree, providing value to people will work much better than hard selling. It is the best way to promote products. Always over deliver on value for every product you are promoting, So, who is producing the products for SFM?

Digital Experts Academy is the company behind the products for students of Six Figure Mentors to sell. They claim that you can learn to sell any product you wish as an affiliate, but in reality they want you to push their own products.

Tools To Create Your Own Website

Using their own Digital Business Lounge they provide the tools like hosting, website building, and marketing tools for creating online businesses. Simple Lead Capture is another tool the provide for building great looking website pages to promote the products.

And most of the people who join the program make money as affiliates promoting the Six Figure Mentor Products.

There is nothing wrong with promoting a product that is teaching you to make money. The only time this gets to be illegal is when it is considered to be a pyramid scheme. A pyramid scheme is when the profits come from recruiting people who pay a fee to join. Or a Ponzi scheme where the earliest members get paid from investments of the newest members. Both are considered illegal.

Six Figure Mentors does appear to be a legitimate company, but they also have some very high ticket upsells.

Who Created Six Figure Mentors?

Stuart Ross And Jay Kubassek are the co-founders of Six Figure Mentors. They are legitimate marketers, but they have a bit of a shady past.

What Is Six Figure Mentors About

Stuart Ross was a part of a scheme called YourNetBiz, which recruited members with expensive memberships. It was considered by some to be a borderline pyramid scheme.

Somehow, this company faded away in 2010 when SFM was created.

And Jay Kubassek was a sales person in a company called Liberty League international. The company got into serious legal trouble for being an MLM that was considered a pyramid scheme in Australia in 2009.

So, it doesn’t mean that the Six Figure Mentors is not a legit company, but it doesn’t add a lot of credibility. I don’t like it when the people involved are know for bad companies in the past. That’s just my opinion.

What Is Six Figure Mentors About And How Does It Work?

The SFM program earns money by promoting products with Facebook ads and email marketing. You run ads and create pages and banners to get people to join your email marketing list. Then you periodically send people on your email list promotions to buy your products.

This is basic affiliate marketing. There is a proven method for success in affiliate marketing

The SFM Affiliate Marketing Product

Whit the SFM model you are using ads to promote your products. This means you are posting an ad somewhere, such as your Facebook page. When people click on your ad, your affiliate link takes the customer to the sellers product display. If they decide to buy the product you get paid a commission for bringing the seller a new customer.

SFM training will teach you how to advertise products on Facebook and recruit members to promote the SFM program. SFM also claims you can use this type of training for marketing other types of products as well. Which is true, you can do that. But, SFM puts a higher emphasis on sell the SFM product.

This is why most members of SFM, appear to be making the most money from affiliate commissions on the SFM product.

What Is Six Figure Mentors About- Image Displaying Course

One of the problems with this type of marketing is the fact that Facebook ads are very expensive. And they are a learning curve by themselves. To be successful with Facebook ads, you need to know what you are doing. You can lose a lot of money very quickly on ads that don’t convert into sales.

How Much Does Six Figure Mentors Cost

The initial cost of the course at $29.90 is cheap. But, you don’t get much information. In fact the information you do get is mostly videos showing you how to upgrade to the Essential level. That seems to be the underlying tone of this training overall. If you want to make money, you have to constantly keep upgrading.

Add that cost to the cost of advertising and you need a bankroll to keep going in the SFM program. But it is also a high ticket affiliate program! Let’s take a look at these costs and what is included.

What Is Six Figures Mentors About – Is The Training Worth The Cost?

Six figures mentors has some good training areas. Both the SFM and the Digital Training Academy teach members how to make money as affiliate marketers and also how to market their own products. And how to market those products with a high retail value. members could earn some serious money!

Most people don’t have their own products, so the end up selling SFM products. They can sell the SFM products and also sell the Digital Experts Academy products as affiliates. These are high ticket products and you could knock down some serious money.

But, the problem that they are not told is the fact that high ticket products like these always have serious competition. It is a highly competitive market, and it requires a lot of hard work. Affiliate marketing is not difficult, but it does require work and lots of it.

And when you are paying such high costs for a program to begin with, it makes it harder to make money. When you have to pay ad costs along with your monthly fees, it can be too hard for people just starting out. Throw in a few live events where you are going to pay more, and all your profits are going right back into the business. That doesn’t put much needed money into your pocket.

Pros And Cons Of Six Figure Mentors

Pros

  • High Ticket Product = High Commissions
  • Affiliate Marketing Training
  • Training For Marketing Your Own Product

Cons

  • Very Expensive
  • High Pressure Sells On Upgrades
  • New Members Encouraged To Sell SFM

Verdict – Legit – But Not Recommended Image Of Thumbs Down For Not Recommended

The SFM product does have some good training and is definitely not a scam. But, there is cheaper and better training available at much cheaper rates than SFM is charging. And most training won’t pressure you into pushing their own products, or buying upgrades that are very expensive. Most people starting out, don’t have that kid of money to spend.

Running ads is an expensive way to get your business noticed. And running ads helps get you out there, and visible. Getting eyeballs on your site is what you need to sell products. But as I said, it costs money! And if you don’t know what you are doing, you can lose money quickly.

A huge problem with running Facebook ads is account shutdowns. Facebook is notorious for shutting down ad accounts for violating policy, but never really telling you why. Without your main source of traffic, you are dead in the water. Relying solely on Facebook is risky business.

You can try posts on your Facebook page, but if you don’t have a large following on Facebook, well guess what? You are not going to last very long selling to family and friends. Your success depends on your ability to reach that bigger audience.

  1. Hello, Chas. In 2018, I started to be interested in online business. Then I came across SFM and as a free member, I learned general things. I have never heard of affiliate marketing before. Although I was earning as a doctor, I was not able to allocate 100 dollars a month for SFM membership. And then I understood that there is no guarantee that earnings will start soon.
However, all this gave me the idea of earning money from home and from then on I started researching. I think that their membership fees for beginners are too expensive and as you yourself explained in the article, the way of making money through Facebook ads is risky, especially for beginners.
There are many other sources of learning about affiliate marketing and online earnings. And all this with initial small investments, and not to go bankrupt first, and then hopefully make money.

    • Hi Ana,
It is nice to hear from former members and hear what they have to say about Six Figure Mentors. It is a source of learning general ideas of how online marketing, and what affiliate marketing is all about. I totally agree with you, that $100 per month is too expensive for a SFM membership. Newbie and beginner marketers need to keep costs down as much as possible. Facebook advertising is not cheap, and with affiliate marketing there may not be an immediate return on your ads. So, it’s quite risky and expensive for someone just starting out to begin advertising. That is why I recommend Wealthy Affiliate. It is good training and very affordable. Plus you learn how to make money without having to advertise.
Thank you for reading my review and taking the time to leave such a nice comment. Please stop back soon!

  2. The training content seems nice and helpful. However, the founders’ dark history, the expensive membership products, and the Facebook traffic push me away from it, and I would not go further into trying Six Figure Mentors. I can tell that most students make money by promoting Six Figure Mentors membership products to others instead of the products they love using, so I would prefer to build a niche website to share things I love. Your recommendation seems like my cup of tea. 🙂

    • Hi Matt,
SFM training is very helpful, but very expensive and you are pushed to promote it to others. It is a lot like an MLM because you keep trying to recruit new members and they are paying your commissions. Facebook is another red flag as the ads are expensive, and they do shut down ad accounts. I agree with you that Wealthy Affiliate is much better.

  3. Hi Chas
This six-figure mentors program would not suit anyone starting off in affiliate marketing I don’t think! First, the background of the founders puts off straight away. The downside is also the upselling which is not appealing for anyone starting off. Wealthy affiliate is way much better and offers more at a reasonable price. Thank you for this honest review.

    • Hi Angie,
I agree with you, Six Figure Mentors is too expensive and the owners have had some issues in the past as well. And yes, that is something that concerns me as well. I also agree with you that Wealthy Affiliates is the best way to learn affiliate marketing. You are welcome.

  4. Hi Chas,

You have a lot of information in this review about SFM. I have not heard of this one before and appreciate the review so I am aware. I am not a fan of sites that train primarily to market their own products. I personally have a hard time marketing something I do not have faith in and it seems that these products are rather pricey and would be difficult to get conversions with. It also sounds like the program would be difficult to get started in with the costs and advertising.

    Thank you,
    Chastity

    • Hi Chasity,
Thank you for your kind words. Six Figure mentors have been around for awhile, but the haven’t changed their style much over the years. SFM does a good job of making the new members believe their products are very lucrative and push hard for upsells in the first few days. I think that using Facebook ads is hard and expensive for beginners. And yes, that makes it very difficult at first. Plus they pay some high fees to be members.

  5. Hi Chas,
Very complete review! It sounds like you would have to have a bunch of money before you even start SFM! Having to pay all that money and all of those upsells sounds terrible! Facebook Ads in addition to the privilege of joining SFM sound way too expensive for most people just starting. It takes a long time just to get your website noticed. Also, if you are selling an expensive product like SFM, I would think a lot of people would be put off by the price and not even buy it in the first place!
It certainly doesn’t sound anywhere near as good as Wealthy Affiliate!

    Very informative review!

    • Hi Barbara,
Thank you. Yea, it wouldn’t hurt to have some cash to fall back on if you join SFM. It helps if you are good at Facebook ads, but most people are not. I would think people would find it expensive as well, and making commissions could be tough. Wealthy Affiliate is the biggest bang for a buck you will find anywhere. That’s one of the reasons why it has such a huge community all around the world.

  6. Hey Chas, thanks for this review. One thing that puts me off big time is the high pressure on upgrades which means they do not have your interests at heart and leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. For me, it’s all about trust and giving value first way way way before asking for something in return without pressure. Plus what if you don’t have a Facebook account? Let alone have a big following? I don’t for sure so Six Figure Mentors is a No for me. There’s plenty of training out there like this which is inexpensive and I’m sure you have something great to offer.

    • Hi Oliver,
You are welcome. I don’t like the upgrades either, never did. They are just like upsells. And using Facebook ads is expensive and risky. Yes, Wealthy Affiliate is a better start all the way around. It’s cheaper and doesn’t require advertising to get you started. Just some good old fashioned work.
